Dento, popular Yoruba actor is dead

Dento, a popular Yoruba actor is dead. The thespian died  on Monday 6 August 2012 after months of battling with stroke.

Gistmaster News gathered that there is no official statement yet from the Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioner (ANTP) of which  the deceased was a memeber while he was alive.

Born Hammed Odunla and from Oyo State, Dento as he is popularly known in movies would be buried according to muslim rites today.

It would be recalled that just months ago, that weeks back Pastor Wole Oladiyun of Christ Living Apostolic Ministry (CLAM) held a special prayer session for entertainers to prevent sudden death among practitioners. Dbanj, Mercuy Aigbe and others attended the servive in Lagos.
