Boko Haram attacks MTN,Airtel’s offices in Kano

Suicide bombers suspected to be members of Islamist group,Boko Haram in the early hours of today,attacked the offices of telecom operators, Airtel and MTN in Kano,northern Nigeria.

Gistmaster gathered that singer market has also been shut down by security forces to prevent the lose of lives and further attacks by the Nigerian Islamist group.

The number of those that died in Kano bomb attacks are not certain yet but security sources disclosed that some of staff and security guards on night duties lost their lives in the twin attacks. Regular bomb attacks and shootings has become regular in the northern parts of the country by Boko Haram.

Efforts by the Nigerian military to curb the attacks by Boko Haram is ongoing but observers believe that the Joint Task Force (JTF) set up by the government needs to step up it intelligence unit to forestall further attacks to reduce it to the barest minimum.
