EFCC declares Abubakar Audu ex-Kogi governor wanted over N4 Billion fraud

Nigeria anti-graft agency,Economic and Financial Commission (EFCC) on thursday declared former governor of kogi state,Prince Abubakar Audu wanted for conspirary and stealing of public funds.

Abubakar Audu kogi stateIn a press statement signed by Wilson Uwujuren, the spokesman of the agency, Audu has been declared wanted because of his modus of dishonouring invitations sent to him by EFCC. He was almost arrested when EFCC operatives went on his trail but he evaded arrest.

The statement said when EFCC Officials went to the controversial and flamboyant politician’s home at 32 Sulaiman Barau street, Asokoro, Abuja on December 11, he escaped.Audu is wanted in connection of a stealing public money amounting to N4 Billion durning his tenure as Kogi state governor.
