Karen Igho will never forget the incident that got her a dirty slap from a security officer in Lagos.While recounting the terrible incident on twitter,Karen who won the big brother africa TV reality show last year,disclosed that the officer slapped her because she refused to give him money
Karen had gone to attend the Smirnoff Ice event in Lagos.She was hoping for a good time especially with her close friend,Derenle Edun, a popular VJ with Channel O.However,she was approached in the car park by a policeman who demanded money from her.But when she refused, the officer slapped her and also pointed the gun to scare the upcoming actress.
While some of her fans on social networks were quick to condemn the act of the policeman,others simply said Karen was only appealing to pity.One of them said that Karen must have been rude to the officer and other issues must have caused it.
There’s no justification for an Officer to assault a public citizen, whether or not Karen was rude is not the matter. Let’s put things in proper perspective. What kind of country are we? Are you suggesting it’s alright to abuse people simply because they get on your nerves! Jesus Christ, we need help here… Gosh!

For the first time, last two weeks friday i meet Karen for the first time. To me she also deserve to be slapped that day by the Security Operatives. That girl is so rude, can you imagine her coming to an event. she packed at the entrance of Civic Center, left her Infinit Jeep and went straight to the hall upstairs. All efforts to get her packed her car at the right place fell on deaf ears. Ive never meet any girl that is so rude like that. She is irritating.
