FTV threatens legal action against impostor in Nigeria

Fashion TV is threatening to take legal actions against one Noel Uche Okonmah , a Nigerian who the comoany described as an impostor on its brand. Okomah is allegedly promoting a business in Nigeria using the name of Ftv.According to a statement signed by Zaineb Alneher on behalf of FTv,the company said Okomah should desist from further deceiving members of the public including celebrities,fashion designers and brands that he is their representatives in Nigeria and Africa in general.

Ftv also warned Okonmah to cancel a proposed press conference and other activities at Four Points by Sheraton announcing the launch of Fashiontv in Africa. In a letter that was adddressed to Okonmah on Tuesday, the fashiontv said none of the representatives would be a party to the activities, therefore if Okomah does not want to be sued to court, he should refrain from using their brand name.

Sources disclosed that Okonmah had been deceiving members of Nigerian Fashion community that he is the official rep of fashiontv in Africa. However, the latter frommthe company shows he has no contract whatsoever with the fashiontv.
