ILORIN—THE Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, University of Ilorin, UNILORIN, branch, yesterday, flayed call by University of Ibadan branch of the union for the resignation of the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Professor Ish’aq Oloyede, from office, saying the call lacks credibility.
In a statement in Ilorin by ASUU Chairman, Dr. Usman Abdulraheem, and Secretary, Dr. Mary Lewu, the union said: “We have no doubt in our minds that Professor Oloyede will succeed.
“Thus the recent call by the University of Ibadan branch of ASUU for his resignation, lacks credibi-lity, amounts to bad belle and outrightly laughable.
“All negative actions and commentaries of UI-ASUU cannot dim the ever shining star of Professor Oloyede because this workaholic is too committed to achieving excellence in every assignment and will not be distracted.”
