By Gistmaster: The management of Visionscape Sanitation Solutions, a leading international sanitation company has condemned the various attacks on its personnel and equipment in Lagos, Nigeria. We gathered, Visionscape has recorded a surge in the attack despite effort made by it franchise team to work something out with PSPS operators,who felt that their jobs was taken away by the company.
In a statement signed by Lord Simon Reading, the chairman of Board of Investors, the company thought effort to appease the PSPS operators would boost their operations in a safe and uninterrupted manner.
“However, security reports brought to our attention contain details of surge in violent attacks on the trucks/equipment and sometimes the operators.”
The company also noted that it is quite worrisome durning recent turbulent political development, where opposition in the gubernatorial race described Visionscape as a ‘misadventure’. Visonscape is committed to a safe environment and it has carried out same duties in other parts of the world.
Lord Simon Reading, who is also the Marquess of Reading in England, implored the government to put in place appropriate measures to safeguard the lives of it over 1000 personnel and equipment in Lagos state. They want a detailed plan that will secure it investment in Nigeria and minimize attrition of the group’s growth plan.
