Suspect urinates in court over theft charge

A Ghanaian, who was charged with theft of motorcycle spare parts valued N550,000, on Monday urinated in court when a two-count of offence of conspiracy and stealing was read to him.

NCC orders MTN to reduce rates

TELECOMMUNICATIONS regulator, the Nigerian Communications Commission, has ordered MTN Nigeria to collapse the rates for its on-net and off-net voice services, which it said has a 300 per cent differential with effect from tomorrow, May 1.

Boko Haram bomb former police IG Hafiz Ringim home

The resident of the former Inspector General of Police Hafiz Ringim has been attacked in Jigawa state.

According to sources at the Nigerian police,  Mr. Ringim’s house has been attacked by suspected Boko Haram Sect members.

Police say there were no causalities.

Jigawa residents say that the gunmen targeted a nearby police station in the process also attacked the former Inspector General of House.
