Prolific writer, author and journalist, Uzor Ngoladi has anounced plans to hit the news stand nationwide with a new magazine titled Uzortimes Magazine in January 2010. According to the seasoned biographer who cut his teeth with defunct Post Express Newspaper, NTA, Hints magazine and Sensation, this new offering will serve as an avenue to xray all government policies as it concerns the Nigerian youth.
“Uzortimes is a youth advocacy journal that will defend the new generation leaders be it in govt, business, education etc all sectors of the economy will be adequately represented. our editorial policy is simply to stand in the gap for the new generation leaders and whatever they represent through objective journalism.” he told gistmaster.
Some columnists who will be writing for Uzortimes include Dickson Iroegbu, Chris Ojigbani, Helen Sosu, Ogwo Awoke Ogwo and Niyi Tabiti, a celebrity blogger. The magazine whose three cardinal points is activism, motivation and leadership will grace the news stand on the 24th of January 2010. Meanwhile reactions have trailed the choice the highbrow Victoria Garden City as corporate headquarters for the magazine due to the exorbitant cost of operations.
