BETWEEN SILVERBIRD AND STYLE EDITORS
This 2011 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) was largely boycotted by style editors from major newspapers and magazines, due to what they termed ‘attitude’ problem of the organizers.
Most style writers who spoke to Gistmaster.com blamed the organizers for non availability of invitation cards. Most of them said they were not invited.
A female reporter with an international media organization said ” We have tried in our little way in promoting the contest in the past. Many thanks to Amadi Ogbonaiya of Vanguard who made sure that press tags were readily available. But now, sorry, Silverbird did not even want to make the style people attend so as to block their loopholes”
