The two roads are being rehabilitated by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, which embarked on them through the intervention of Senator Theodore Orji, representing Abia Central so as to enhance easy evacuation of agricultural produce.

Agricultural produce

The community is inhabited by indigenes and farmers from other states, including Enugu, Ebonyi, Imo, Anambra, Cross River, among others, who are engaged in the production of different types of agricultural produce such as yam, cassava, maize and vegetables.

The people appreciated the work so far done on the roads by the Federal Government but appealed that more effort be put in to ensure their completion and possible extension  to their neigbou-ring communities who also are mainly farmers. The traditional ruler of the community, Eze Henry Ezekwem, commended the Federal Government and Senator Orji for the roads, saying that the community would forever be grateful.
