Delta community passed confidence on leadership

ASABA—The people of Tekedor-Kusimi community in Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State, have passed a vote of confidence in the Deacon Clement Tekedor-led executive, saying it is providing purposeful leadership.

Moving the motion for the vote of confidence, which was seconded by Victor Kusimi, Chief Balogun Numa said the community executive was doing well, asking for their tenure to be extended, which was unanimously adopted.

The Chairman, Deacon Tekedor, urged the people of the community to continue to live in peace with one another and their neighbours.

Tekedor, who spoke at a well-attended one-day sensitisation seminar and meeting on the importance of living in harmony, stressed the need for the people to always employ dialogue rather than resort to violence in settling disputes.

Saying his leadership was working to create an enabling environment for the companies in Egwa Oil Field to return to full operations, he said  he was determined to make life meaningful for Tekedor-Kusimi indigenes.
