To ensure the safety and security of people across the state, Governor Ibrahim Gaidam of Yobe State has approved the placement of restrictions on all vehicular movement from 10p.m. last night till 11a.m. today.
This was contained in a statement by the governor’s spokesman, Alhaji Abdullahi Bego.
Bego said: “The public is also advised that no vehicle, except those on official duty and with valid security clearance, will be allowed in or around Eid prayer grounds.
“The Yobe State government takes this measures in consultation with the heads of security and law enforcement agencies to ensure smooth, secure and hitch-free Eid prayers tomorrow (today).
“The public is also kindly advised to cooperate with security agents in this regard.”
