Kano state Football Association has commiserated with Nigerian football fraternity over the death of Kamal Baba Otu, the first son of veteran former national team player, Baba Otu Mohammed.
The chairman, Kano FA and Executive  member, Nigeria  Football Federation, NFF, Sharu Rabiu Ahlan, said the state football family is in mourning mood.
“The news of the death,  came to us as a shock, Kano footballers, coaches, referees, administrators, fans, sports writers sympathize with Baba Otu and his family”. Sharu said.
According to him, Baba Otu served Nigeria during his active days, adding that his patriotism will always attract the sympathy of football fans in good times and challenging period as this.
He urged Nigerians to remember the family of the deceased in their supplications, requesting that God should give them the fortitude to endure the lose.
Further, the Kano FA honcho prayed that, God will grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest.
It would be recalled that former African Best Right Wing Player  in 1976, and Green Eagles Outside  right Winger  Baba Otu  Mohammed last Wednesday lose his first son, Kamal Baba Otu Mohammed. Aged 42.
The  deceased passed away while battling with a terminal
illness in  Jos, Plateau state. Late Kamal gave up the
ghost at about 7:am last Wednesday  at his residence in Jos
