Nollywood popular actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie has denied recent stories by some bloggers that her marriage is in trouble.The story that Mercy Johnson broke up with her husband is not true afterall. The news report started shortly after Mercy removed photographs of her husband from her instagram page.
Most people who followed the actress on her instagram handle thought her marriage has crashed.
Mercy denied that the marriage crashed when she posted a photo of herself and her husband, Prince Okojie in the bedroom. The couple stays in Omole Estate in Lagos. The instagram post has a caption, saying people should wish her well this year. The marriage breakup is not going to happen, she said.
Mercy Johnson remains one of Nollywood all time stars. She got married to Prince Odianosen Okojie some years ago at Christ Embassy church, Oregun,Ikeja. The marriage was almost disrupted following protest by a woman who claimed to be married to the groom at the time. It turned out to be one of the longest and successful celebrity weddings in Nigeria.

Mercy was born in August 1984 to Daniel Johnson, a former naval officer father and Madam Elizabeth Johnson. She is from Kogi state just like fellow actress, Halima Abubakar. Her parents finally settled in Badagry, Lagos.
