Corruption in Central Bank:Emefiele rattled following close door meeting with Buhari

Governor Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele looked disturbed and rattled after a close door meeting he had with President Muhammadu Buhari lasted for ten minutes. Emefiele is in the middle of simultaneous allegations of massive corruption of about N500 Billion in the Central Bank.

Gistmaster gathered that the meeting was at the instance of Buhari following an audio exposing the corruption in CBN. It published by whistleblowing news website, Saharareporters.

After the meeting didn’t speak with the Newmen, who had gathered at the villa to hear more about the allegations and discussions with President Buhari.The CBN governor hurriedly left the villa, while avoiding reporters.

Staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria on Monday expressed their gratitude for the report and audio that exposed the financial impropriety of Godwin Emefiele, governor of the bank and other top managers at the CBN.

One official who spoke to SaharaReporters said the office was on lockdown and tension palpable as people discussed the audio which he said was the least of brazen financial crimes carried out in the bank.

He added that top managers of the apex bank have turned the bank into a financial crime scene with the help and full support of the cabal in Aso Rock.

The source also alleged that the bank had many times manipulated forex to suit financial needs of Aso Rock cabals as revealed in the tape.

The audio released exclusively by SaharaReporters on Sunday details a conversation between Mr. Emefiele and three other bank managers trying to cover up a private deal that went bust.
