Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu has asked the Department of State Service to release Omoyele Sowore on bail.
The judge made the ruling after listening to the argument of Sowore’s lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN) and the prosecuting counsel.
The judge granted Sowore bail to the tune of N100 Million with two sureties in like sum. The sureties must must be resident in Abuja with assets worth the bail. They must also deposit the document to the court. Sowore is also expected deposit the sum of N50 million to the account of the court. He must not leave abuja or address any rally till the determination of the substantive suit.
Gistmaster gathered that Bakare, Sowore’s co defendant was granted N50 million bail. Justice Ojukwu also said he must leave Osogbo.
