A traditional leader and major voice in the Royal house of Liyangu in Sagamu Local Government Area of Lagos State, Chief Olusegun Ajanlekoko has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Tinubu following his emergence as Presidential flag bearer of All Progressive Congress (APC) in next general elections.
In his message, Ajanlekoko described Tinubu as a politician with exemplary leadership qualities. He believes Foyege town and other places within her environs will benefit in many ways when Tinubu eventually emerges the President of Nigeria.
Speaking further, he said “Tinubu is a team player. He laid the foundation that skyrocketed the internally generated revenue of Lagos from N600 million monthly to over N50 Billion today. I am sure he will lead Nigeria and Nigerians well when he becomes president”
Chief Ajanlekoko said he will collaborate with others to dutifully mobilize people of his community in Foyege town and voters nationwide and in the diaspora to ensure victory for Tinubu at the next general election.
“I call on over 40 million registered members of our great party, APC to engage in mass mobilization of Nigerians voters towards supporting Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. Victory is certain for us in the 2023 election.”
In the race to win the APC presidential ticket, Tinubu defeated 12 other contestants including incumbent Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, the senate president, Senator Ahmed Lawan and others. President Mohammadu Buhari and others witnessed the voting, which took place at Eagle Square, Abuja on Wednesday, June 8th, 2022.
Campaigns by various presidential candidates of political parties in Nigeria will officially start in September 2023. Elections will take place in the first quarter of 2023.
