When Princess Ronke Ademiluyi came up with the concept of Africa Fashion Week Nigeria & London, many thought it was a joke or too big to achieve. Today, the AFWN & AFWL has become one of the biggest fashion and most sought after lifestyle event in Nigeria and United Kingdom.
Every year, fashion designers, model, event managers, producers and reporters also jostle to be part of it.
Top and emerging models turned up en masse to be part of this year’s Africa Fashion Week Nigeria model casting in Lagos. The event, which took place at the Nike Art Gallery, Lekki; saw models from within and outside the country in their thousands showing so much ethusiasm because of the love to work with the AFWN team.

Models who made the final list will be showcasing for various designers durning the fashion week.
The event is expected to take place at Eko Hotel between September 7 and 9, 2022.
The AFWN model casting was fun. Popular model scouts, Bayo Adegbe (Modella) and Zubi graced the exercise. Fashion and beauty entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani and Mama Nike Okundaye, danced with the models and also encouraged them to be best in all they do.
